This programme will serve to introduce young readers to folk tales, fables and inspirational stories from around the world. From the reading materials, we pick up good vocabulary for their reference and deepen their understanding of sentence constructions via cloze passages practices.
Due to the increased weightage for the oral component in 2025, the focus on doing well for the spoken section has become more important. This programme aims to improve their factual knowledge on various topics as well as building their confidence when speaking aloud to an audience.
In Primary 5 & 6, students face challenges in booklet B especially in editing and cloze passages. These sessions exposure them to factual articles and commonly tested words in vocabulary, editing and cloze passages.
We break down the specific question-types found in every comprehension passage and train the students on how to understand and answer them. The upper primary will get to practice various genre found in Primary 5 & 6 test papers and recognise the text-type.
