Primary 4 class

English Programme Overview

Edubuilder is a learning centre set up by experienced, passionate and caring teachers led by the Principal, Mrs Sherry Bay. We value students’ quality learning and aim to help them realise their true potential.

Our mission is to teach students the concepts so that they can apply them on their own. Not only do we value concept mastery but also nurture the students during every teachable moment.

Our courses are based on Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE) current syllabus and are structured to equip students with the knowledge, concepts and skills for national examinations such as the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) & ‘O’ level.

Age Group: 6-17 years
Class Ratio: 1 teacher and 1 assistant

What Your Child Will Learn

Our CEP English curriculum is designed with two key components:

  1. Composition & Comprehension
This weekly program helps students excel in new composition topics and situational writing. Students engage in brainstorming, discussion, and idea-sharing in class. Lessons emphasize writing skills like sentence construction and story expansion. With Mdm Tan’s unique ideas and planners, students are inspired to enhance their writing abilities.

  2. Excel in Written Paper
Our tailored in-house curriculum focuses on helping students grasp grammatical concepts for success in grammar, transformation, and cloze exercises. Thematic vocabulary teaching is integrated with our composition themes to reinforce learning.
